MEET MELANIE YETTER

 
 

Melanie Yetter - IMTA, E-RYT 500, YACEP

With over 15 years of experience, I am deeply committed to teaching meditation, breathing exercises, mindfulness, and teachings of Buddha Dharma. My expertise is not just confined to leading public classes and teacher training in meditation, mindfulness, and breath work but also includes orchestrating practice retreats and exploring the ethical aspects of business. My passion for mental health shines through in my approach to educating diverse groups, encompassing the training of instructors and offering private practice counseling that focuses on mental well-being.

I have a well-rounded educational background encompassing spiritual teachings and secular studies. After receiving advanced yoga training (RYT-500) in Mysore, India, I pursued the serene path of Zen Buddhism, culminating in my ordination as a novice Buddhist monk. In addition, my academic endeavors in secular mindfulness were refined at UCLA, underscoring my commitment to a holistic approach to mental health.

Throughout my career, I have collaborated with various industries, from universities and spiritual communities to yoga studios and corporations. My influence extends to K-12 schools, hospitals, government agencies, non-profits, and law enforcement, showcasing my dedication to integrating mindfulness and meditation into various sectors of society to enhance mental health and well-being.
